The Commercial Accounting Team Lead is responsible for leading the finance team in ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will oversee the revenue cycle process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue opportunities:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making for the APAC region
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management to support strategic planning
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and implement best practices for financial reporting and analysis
- Support ongoing improvements and automation projects within the accounting team.
- Create and maintain financial models to support revenue forecasting and planning.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations.
Compliance
- Assist in any audit process raised by Legal Entity Controllership.
- Adhere to the strong internal controls in place to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance. CPA or CMA certification is a plus
- Fluent in English, other language skills desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management or finance, process improvement.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Blackline, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
