Type of Role: Serves as a senior level, independent contributor with expertise in at least one technical area. Responsible for a small to medium size project or components of a larger project. Works effectively as part of a team. Decision-Making: Independently solves problems and resolves issues within area of expertise or escalates problems to the appropriate resource. Analyzes a chain of events and applies technical knowledge; collects facts and basic rationale to make recommendations for problem resolution. Applies compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provides documentation as necessary, and participates in compliance activities as required. Knowledge: Seasoned knowledge of operations technologies, processes, procedures, and architectures, including the ability to support nearly all technologies in the operations environment. Understanding of the I/T organization and where to escalate operational problems. Understanding of J&J operating company's products and business processes, and the ability to prioritize the criticality of an operational incident and its impact on the business. Supervision Received/Provided: Applies technical expertise and works independently within scope, receiving general guidance.
