This position will be based in Bangalore (India), and report into the Global Architect for Commercial, being dedicated to support the Head of Technology for Global Sales Products.

Architecture at Kenvue is a core function within Kenvue Tech & Data (KTD), whose purpose is to increase strategy-to-execution velocity. We provide technology and strategic leadership across product teams, lines of business, rationalization and modernization programs, as well as digital transformation initiatives. Further, to enhance Kenvue’s competitiveness and achieve our business goals, we oversee technology-driven changes and emerging-tech adoption.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and technically adept Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of sales and commercial technology solutions within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. This role will own the end-to-end architecture across applications, data, integration, and technology landscape that support field sales, trade promotion management, pricing optimization, and commercial analytics. You will partner closely with technology & business product owners, Data and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into robust technical architectures.

You will bring strong outside-in industry expertise to drive future ready capabilities fit to purpose, rationalised landscape, cost effective and drive design by secure framework for scalability. Ability to architect landscapes involving SAAS capabilities with strong micro services architecture, structured and unstructured data, enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Architecture Ownership

  • Define and maintain the application architecture across SFA, CRM, TPM, pricing, portfolio mix and Mobile platforms and Customer lifecycle platforms.
  • Design and govern data architecture to ensure consistency, integrity, and accessibility across commercial systems.
  • Lead the integration architecture, enabling seamless data flow between ERP, CRM, TPM, retail execution, and distributor platforms using APIs, middleware, and ETL pipelines.

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Architect scalable, Secure by design, modular solutions tailored to CPG sales and commercial processes, including omnichannel strategies (retail, DTC, B2B).
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and performance requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and Data teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Facilitate architecture review boards and design workshops to align stakeholders on solution direction.

Platform Optimization

  • Drive and own product technology pipeline with strategic view on the landscape to rationalize and optimize.
  • Drive automation and data flow improvements across the sales lifecycle, including order management, pricing approvals, and promotional spend tracking.
  • Optimize CRM and TPM platforms to support field sales productivity and trade investment ROI.

Governance & Compliance

  • Establish and enforce architectural standards, data governance policies, and integration best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GS1 standards, data privacy laws) and internal controls.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI-driven demand forecasting, retail analytics, and digital shelf management.
  • Lead pilots and proof-of-concepts to test new capabilities in sales enablement and commercial optimization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 4 years in the CPG industry.
  • Proven experience in application, data, and integration architecture across commercial platforms.
  • Strong understanding of CPG sales processes, trade promotions, and retail execution.
  • Experience with micro services architecture, API design, middleware , and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Strong experience in agile ways of working, principles and methodologies (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a flair for communicating across diverse teams and stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands on experience in TPM (e.g., XTEL, Visualfabriq, Salesforce), SFA, SAP and digital commerce platforms
  • Experience with syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) and retail analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with DTC and eCommerce integrations.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in demand planning, pricing elasticity, or promotional effectiveness.
