What you will do
The role of the Scientific Detailer will be to support Kenvue portfolio of products across several brand lines and indications under the supervision of The Scientific Detailing Manager. The role requires the individual to identify local Pharmacies and HCP’s (i.e. Derms) to develop local, regional and a national business plan that delivers calls, through both traditional and remote interactions and marketing initiatives across their assigned territory. The SD will be required to ensure operational targets are met and surpassed by being able to intelligently identify the appropriate engagement channel for the assigned target, gain consent and apply data and insight to drive a smart, informed and value-based conversations with customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role will involve, but not be restricted to, the following activities:
- Coverage of an agreed territory on which the representative will identify and develop Pharmacists and HCP’s value-based interactions using any insights through collaboration with Kenvue internal teams to ensure alignment to national and regional strategy.
- Deliver on a well-defined business plan within budget and agreed timelines.
- Deliver other key performance indicators as directed.
- Successfully complete the distance learning and initial training program.
- Use of internal systems to support routing, planning, sequential selling and territory analysis.
- Educate Pharmacists and HCP’s on the safe, appropriate and effective use of the products and the future portfolio to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Identify HCP’s in the surrounding of the Pharmacies with special interest to advocate Kenvue product through collaboration with Kenvue internal teams.
- Identify and assess local opportunities and where value can be added, presenting prudent business cases to line manager for additional investment consideration.
- Regular interaction at national team meetings to continually drive a culture of collaboration, support and sharing best practice.
- Contribute with insights and ideas to the overall company professional strategy.
- Create and maintain relationships with KOL and other key stakeholders.
- Possibly presenting at local events and webinars.
- Comply with all Kenvue SOPs and codes of ethical practice.
- Ensure that all activity is compliant with local rules and regulations.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree – Life Sciences
- Fulfils legal requirements for Medical Representative in Italy
- 1-3 years’ experience in promoting to HCP’s and Pharmacists would be beneficial.
- Current relationships with HCP’s and Pharmacists across territories would be beneficial.
- Previous experience of detailing in a few indications would be beneficial.
- Understanding of the market environment and its challenges.
- Current experience of applying a multi-channel approach within a primary care setting including the use of e-detailing, remote call applications and other digital approaches.
- Enthusiastic, high energy, team orientated person with a “can do” attitude.
- Outstanding communicator with exceptional selling, networking and persuading skills.
- Strong drive for achievement and willingness to challenge the status quo to deliver results.
- Outstanding territory business planning, management and organization skills.
- Ability to use digital resources to deliver targets in the most cost-efficient way possible.
- Willingness to collaborate with team colleagues share best practice in the interests of the team success and their own.
- Strategic Thinking /Business Acumen, Adaptability.
- Valid driver’s license required.
