What you will do
The Senior Customer Development Manager is responsible for supervising the development and servicing of national/key accounts to achieve business sales objectives:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic customer development plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets
- Lead a team of customer development professionals to ensure effective execution of plans and deliver exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for product innovation and market expansion
- Utilize data analytics to evaluate performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks
- Lead and oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of sales representatives
- Develop and implement promotions, incentives, and motivational strategies for the sales team
- Set and monitor team and individual sales targets, providing effective coaching and support
- Allocate resources effectively and adjust as necessary to optimize sales activities
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures in sales operations
- Utilize market data to drive sales strategies and increase product presence with accounts
- Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to identify opportunities for growth
- Manage budgets for specific districts or regions to control expenses and maximize revenue
- Provide exceptional support to sales representatives and customers, addressing any issues or inquiries
- Lead and execute sales events or projects to enhance overall sales performance
- Collaborate closely with sales manager to implement sales plans and drive necessary changes for goal achievement
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in customer development or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 6-8 years of related experience in a supervisory role
- University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a relevant field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and driving business growth
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Quick learner with high adaptability to changing environments
- Comfortable engaging with individuals at various job levels
- Proficient in oral and written communication for business correspondence and presentations
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a strong sense of accountability
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for fieldwork
