Responsible for developing strategic plans, leading supplier and external manufacturer category strategy on behalf of Quality, ensuring compliance, and providing structure for KPIs and continuous improvement.
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supplier quality management strategies to ensure the highest level of quality standards and reliability are met
- Lead management of global chemical and packaging suppliers.
- Partner with network team on supplier selection criteria and governance
- Represent Quality in the Procurement leadership team, ensuring Quality requirements are incorporated into the Supplier Relationship Management strategy, globally for Kenvue
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in supplier quality performance
- Lead a global team to drive category expertise and processes/standards, and regional teams to drive excellence in operations and ensure flawless implementation of global processes/standards.
- Driving standardization in process and execution across global regions
- Define and drive the strategic direction for the supplier quality management function
- Lead and oversee the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance and direction on corrective action and preventive action processes
- Represent the quality function in the Procurement leadership team
- Establish and maintain global relationships with regional teams
- Provide subject matter expertise to other departments and lead cross-functional teams
Required Years of Related Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Life Sciences or related discipline field
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in supplier quality management or related
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven track record of successfully managing supplier quality programs and driving process improvements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience in leading and overseeing quality improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of corrective action and preventive action processes
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives
