The ServiceNow Development Manager is responsible for driving the successful delivery of ServiceNow platform initiatives, managing the Capacity Team to ensure optimal resource allocation, and fulfilling People Manager (PML) duties for assigned staff. This role ensures that all platform delivery outcomes meet quality, timeline, and business objectives while fostering team growth and operational excellence.

The position requires a ServiceNow Certified Architect or Certified Application Developer with a minimum of 10 years’ hands-on ServiceNow experience and proven expertise delivering HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead ServiceNow platform delivery across HRSD, Procurement (S2P), WSD, VR, ITSM, and related modules, ensuring solutions meet business priorities and quality standards.

  • Manage the Capacity Team, balancing workloads, forecasting resource needs, and optimizing allocation for platform delivery efficiency.

  • Act as People Manager (PML) for assigned staff, conducting performance reviews, career development planning, and skills coaching.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and Technical Leads to define platform delivery priorities and schedules.

  • Monitor and report delivery KPIs, implementing improvements to enhance speed, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Provide technical oversight to ensure all platform solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, architectural standards, and governance guidelines.

  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with business and technical stakeholders throughout delivery cycles.

  • Partner with vendors and third-party providers to ensure platform delivery commitments are met.

  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security requirements, and ServiceNow platform delivery standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in ServiceNow platform delivery, with leadership and hands-on expertise.

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) required.

  • Proven track record in delivering HRSD and ITSM solutions, including configuration, customization, and best practices.

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, integrations, and enterprise-scale deployments.

  • Experience in capacity planning, resource management, and workload optimization.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • Prior experience as a people manager in a technical delivery environment.
