Role reports to: Regional Sales Manager – West

Location: Maharashtra (South)

What you will do

The Front Line Manager is responsible for supervising and coaching your sales team to achieve set goals, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. You will analyze sales data, support accounts, and collaborate with leadership to implement effective sales strategies:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing frontline and sales teams by fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and leadership development to exceed operational and sales goals.

  • Design and implement dynamic workflow and motivational strategies, including promotions and incentives, that enhance team efficiency, engagement, and customer satisfaction.

  • Utilize data-driven insights and perform in-depth sales and operational data analysis to proactively identify challenges, growth opportunities, and develop creative, targeted solutions that optimize team performance.

  • Conduct comprehensive recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training processes to ensure team competency and skill advancement.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and closely with sales management to pilot new initiatives, execute sales plans, streamline processes, and elevate service delivery standards.

  • Set clear, measurable goals for teams and individuals, providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and support to drive continuous improvement.

  • Optimize resource allocation dynamically to support sales and operational objectives while responding to changing market conditions.

  • Ensure strict adherence to all applicable federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures governing sales and operational activities.

  • Gather, analyze, and apply marketing intelligence to inform sales strategies and enhance competitive positioning.

  • Manage key account relationships and provide expert support to sales representatives and customers to maximize product visibility and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain detailed activity, productivity, and performance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to monitor and improve outcomes.

  • Prepare, oversee, and control budgets for assigned districts or regions, ensuring financial accountability and cost-effectiveness.

  • Lead and coordinate sales events and projects aimed at boosting sales performance, market penetration, and overall business growth.

  • Manage channel partner relationships to drive commercial alignment, business planning and execution excellence across key accounts.

  • Lead demand forecasting processes by analyzing sales trends, market data and channel inputs to enable accurate supply planning and inventory optimization.

  • Provide On-the Job Training and mentorship, thereby driving capability building and skill development among the team.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.

  • 6-10 years of progressive frontline supervisory or sales management experience.

  • Proven leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong accountability and organizational skills with a track record of driving results.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and lead change initiatives.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency in strategic business planning and execution.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Valid driver’s license with readiness to travel and conduct fieldwork.

  • Robust problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to team engagement.

  • Experience in budget management with expenditure approval authority.

  • In-depth knowledge of compliance management and regulatory standards.

  • Capability to identify and implement process improvements.

  • Customer-focused mindset dedicated to superior service and client relationships.

  • Competency in sales enablement techniques including prospecting and solution-based selling.

  • Analytical skills to interpret sales trends and data.

  • Strong project management skills emphasizing time management and resource coordination.

  • Adaptability and resilience to manage diverse challenges and shifting priorities.
