This position reports to the Senior Sales Director and is based in Neuss.

What will you do?
The role of the Commercial Director is to accelerate our Mass retail channel strategy within Germany. With a focus on Grocery & Discount (LEH + Discount) as key channels for growth, this role will deliver the successful execution of our Go to Market Strategy, meet, and exceed our KPIS and shape our medium to longer term future plans with our customers. The successful candidate will be a people focused, courageous and results orientated leader, fully embracing an end to end and entrepreneurial mindset.
This role offers an opportunity for a key talent to accelerate their career to senior levels within the Germany sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
Focused on winning more consumers, building financial strength and a desire to unleash the power of our talents, the Commercial Directors key focus area’sof responsibilty will be:
- Channel Ownerhship: Full commercial ownership of the Grocery and Discount channels in Germany.
- Customer Strategy. Develop and execute differentiated strategies for each retailer, aligned with borader commercial goals.
- Team Leadership. Lead, coach and develop a team of National Account Managers and Key Accoutn executives
- P & L Management. Own the sales forecast, gross margins, trade spends, promotional budgets and reveune targets per customer.
- Negociation Excellence. Lead annual negociations with local and regoinal customers including buying groups.
- Retailer Relationships. Build strong, trust based pertnerships with top retailer partners.
- Contribute to wider Germany sales success as a key member of leadership team undertaking wider leadership projects, deputising for Senior Sales Director as required.

He or she will have demonstrated.
- An outstanding track record of success in sales (Mass and or Discount channel is ideal, but not a must) with a minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience at senior leadership level.
- Strong track record in negotiations. listing wins, trade spend management & market share growth.
- Demonstrated success in both strategic planning and perfect execution.
- Proven experiences with people development.
- International experiences will be an advantage.

- Superior communication and influencing skills.
- Fluency in German and in English.
