This position reports into Head of eCommerce – AMET and is based at Cape Town, South Africa.

Role reports to: Head of eCommerce - AMET

Location: Cape Town, South Africa

What you will do

The eCommerce Insights & Analytics manager will be supporting all eCommerce team and cross functional teams with commercial and digital insights and recommendations to help them taking the right business decisions

Key Responsibilities

  • eCommerce Data Base Management : Develop & maintain eCommerce master data base of NTS, Market data , research , customer sell out and digital metrics.

  • Driving Informed Decisions: Data analysts transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling organizations to make strategic and evidence-based decisions through data Exploration and Analysis: Analysts use statistical tools and techniques to explore and analyze data, identifying patterns, relationships.

  • Gather Monthly Sales  STT, NTS Data from eCommerce leads & Distributors , process data cleaning and validation , this involves filtering the data, handling missing values, and preparing the dataset for analysis to ensure accuracy and relevancy.

  • Generate Monthly Closing Report & insights :  develop monthly closing report to show eCommerce performance by market , brand customer Vs ambition and Targets , define gaps , key challenges and recommendations .

  • Develop Market Share Report  analyze online market share of Kenvue brands Vs category and competition report key finding and identify market share gap analysis and put recommendation to accelerate market share growth .

  • Analyze Customer Sell Out: By analyzing customer POS data you will help eCommerce organizations to understand category and brand performance leading to improved Kenvue online performance and market share.

  • Improving eCommerce Operational Efficiency: optimize processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending data-driven solutions to streamline operations m driving data automation tools

  • Lead Data Agencies :  Collaborate with data agencies to manage agreement , subscriptions to provide eCom team with best tools of market performance like NIQ – Statista – Stackline

  • Collaboration:  work with other departments CBI , Finance & Marketing to understand their data needs and help them make informed decisions based on data insights .

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, Statistics, or comparable discipline is preferred, with prior experience in data analysis or a related field being advantageous.

  • Possessing a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, SPSS, SAS) is preferred.

  • Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness. 
  • Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.

  • Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
