This position reports into Marketing Controller Central Europe and is based in Neuss, Germany.

What You Will Do 

The Finance Specialist supports the Marketing Controlling team Central Europe in the management of marketing expense reporting, budgeting, and financial processes. The role helps maintain and enhance reporting processes, supports planning activities and provide operational support for budgeting and reporting activities across the CE Marketing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare regular financial reports, analyses and performance tracking

• Monitor BME (Brand Marketing Expenses) budgets and support spend tracking across the Central Europe Cluster

• Prepare BME related reports and analyses and provide support for month-end closing activities, identifying variances and key drivers

• Maintain and enhance financial reporting files, master data and databases

• Assist in the preparation of presentations and financial materials for business reviews and management meetings.

• Support process improvement initiatives within Finance through the use of tools, systems, and automation solutions.

• Partner with Marketing teams and other Finance teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.

• Provide ad-hoc analyses and administrative finance support as required.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Education in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Initial experience in Finance, Controlling, Reporting, Data Analysis, or a related area

• Strong analytical skills and affinity to detail.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong affinity for working with data.

• Ability to work with financial information and prepare accurate reports.

• Curiosity and willingness to learn and embrace new tools and systems

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented mindset.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within international teams.

• Professional working proficiency in both German and English.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of Power Bi or similar data visualization and reporting tools.

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

• Experience working in a multinational environment.
