Role reports to: Global MES Program Lead

Location: Prague, Czechia

Travel %: 25%

What you will do 

The Functional Lead – Digitized Workflow, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) will be responsible for executing the defined strategy for implementing a paper on glass MES solution globally. This role involves leading a team of functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the deployment of MES technologies, ensuring that projects meet technical specifications and comply with industry standards, particularly within GxP environments.

He/she will:

• Review, own and approve the capabilities implemented in Digitized Workflow (paper-on-glass) solution

• Execute the technical strategy for MES implementation, ensuring alignment with established global objectives.

• Lead a team of SMEs throughout the implementation process, guaranteeing adherence to best practices and technical requirements.

• Collaborate with System Integrator project managers and local site leads to address technical challenges and facilitate seamless project execution.

• Collect insights and lessons learned from project implementations to enhance MES governance and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

• Support change management initiatives in collaboration with the Global Change Management lead.

• Facilitate the collection, validation, and approval of benefits associated with MES project execution, conducting benefit evaluations as directed by the global team.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or similar

• Minimum of 7 years of business experience with at least 3 years of leadings project in the supply chain or IT manufacturing space

• Experience working with MES systems (AVEVA Model Driven MES experience is a plus) either as a user or as a consultant/system integrator

• Possesses excellent communication, motivation, team building, employee involvement, diplomacy, delegating skills, as well as confidence and enthusiasm

• Strategic planning and disruptive thinking. Agile and entrepreneurial mindset

• Proven track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment

• Ability to collaborate within and across companies, cultures, functions, and geographies to lead change and action

Desired Qualifications

• Specific Project Management documented training (PMP certification is a plus)

• Fluency in speaking Spanish and/or Portugues

• Experience working in a consumer goods or pharmaceutical supply chain environment is preferred.

• Experience in global consultancy and corporate environment managing and coordinating large teams in matrix organization is preferred
