Wat je gaat doen

The Marketing Manager for Skin Health & Beauty APAC serves as the regional brand lead and a strategic partner to the Global Brand Team. The role is responsible for shaping and executing the APAC 3‑year growth agenda by leveraging global brand foundations, innovation pipelines, and creative toolkits to accelerate market performance. This position champions brand excellence across the region, ensuring the effective cascade and adaptation of global strategies while driving strong cross‑functional collaboration. The role also develops and inspires high‑performing teams, embeds Kenvue behaviors, and represents the voice of APAC consumers and markets to influence global strategy and unlock sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead APAC brand strategy as the region’s primary brand owner, shaping strategy, innovation, and communication in alignment with global direction.

  •  Cascade global strategies and toolkits (communications, innovation, positioning) to APAC markets, ensuring Fit‑For‑Use adaptation and executional excellence.

  • Ensure brand and connections excellence, including rollout of global content, retail, HCP, and influencer frameworks, adapted for local nuances.

  • Shape and drive the 3‑year innovation pipeline, leveraging the global pipeline, identifying APAC gaps, and leading stage‑gate development and governance.

  • Oversee portfolio management, including pricing, pack architecture, commercial initiatives, cost savings, and loss‑avoidance programs in partnership with RGM and cross‑functional teams.

  • Manage compliance and quality, coordinating master text and artwork changes, ensuring adherence to global design guidelines, and partnering on regulatory and advocacy requirements.

  • Drive insight integration, consolidating consumer, retailer, and HCP insights to inform global teams and regional capability partners.

  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to financial plans, scaling best practices, and influencing key markets and global stakeholders.

  • Coach and develop APAC teams, fostering a high‑performing culture and embedding diverse perspectives into planning and execution.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally (supply, finance, R&D, regulatory, commercial) to ensure strong execution, accurate forecasting, and alignment with business commitments.

  • Support brand performance tracking, consolidating APAC brand results, financials, and insights for reviews and reporting.

  • Ensure compliant budget management, including ROI discipline, contingency planning, and alignment across cost lines.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (Master’s a plus), with 6–8+ years of progressive experience in brand strategy, innovation, and operations within the Beauty / Skin Care category.

  • Strong brand‑building expertise, including translating strategies into influencer, community, and HCP initiatives, with proven excellence in brand execution and toolkit development.

  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex, multi‑factor challenges, make clear decisions, and prioritize effectively while navigating ambiguity.

  • Deep understanding of APAC markets, cultural nuances, consumer insights, and experience leading regional initiatives while cascading globally aligned strategies.

  • Proven leadership in end‑to‑end innovation, including stage‑gate processes, portfolio management, and leveraging technology, data, and analytics to drive strategic outcomes.

  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with experience working across multiple time zones, managing cross‑functional teams, and engaging senior stakeholders.
