Job Description:

Kenvue is recruiting for a Procurement & General Accounting Team Lead for its Finance Operations team. As a member of our Finance Operations team, you will have exclusive access to a network of financial professionals worldwide. This role is part of Finance Operations with the successful candidate being a valuable contributor to the Procurement & General Accounting team.  The Team Lead is responsible for supporting Kenvue’s Procurement & General Accounting processes in compliance with company policy and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Support all global activities including review and approval related to procurement accounting including GRIR (goods receipt/invoice receipt) activities, procurement accruals and general accounting activities including review and approval of reports and tasks.

  • Responsible for the complete and accurate accounting for all the General process flows for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations.

  • Supervise and provides guidance to PG24 and PG23 analysts in the day-to-day operations.

  • Support Process Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and Operational Key Contacts (OKC's) to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach.

  • Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items

  • Support ongoing improvements and automation projects within the accounting team.

  • Remain updated with industry trends, changes in accounting rulings, and latest technologies.

  • Prepares ad hoc analyses and presentations as needed.

  • Other tasks that may be delegated by the Senior Team Lead

Compliance:

  • Assist in any audit process raised by Legal Entity Controllership.

  • Adhere to the strong internal controls in place to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance.

  • At least 4 years of experience in Procurement and General Accounting

  • At least 1 year of Management / Supervisory experience is required

  • Fluent English, other language skills desirable

  • Experience in SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft tools

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels 

  • Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies 

  • Be organized and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines 

  • Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge preferrable
