Wat je gaat doen

The Scientist is responsible for designing and conducting experiments to advance research and development projects. You will analyze data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to innovative solutions within the R&D function:

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute groundbreaking experiments to push the boundaries of scientific knowledge within R&D projects.
• Develop innovative methodologies and prototypes that translate theoretical concepts into practical applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate emerging technologies and novel approaches into product development pipelines.
• Analyze complex data sets to uncover hidden patterns and insights that drive strategic research directions.
• Support new product introduction/development (NPI, NPD) projects within Asia pacific market.
• Support assigned OTC internal and external innovation projects to support AP OTC business needs by working with the cross functional team to execute due diligence, formulate technical strategy and provide support as needed to drive decisions and manage risks.
• Support manage external institutions, External manufacturers , CROs, and technology development companies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Actively interact with Marketing, QA, Supply Chain, Medical & Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure effective product development.
• Support multiple NPD/NPI projects simultaneously and ensure on budget and on time delivery of project goals.
• Oversee technology transfer from external partners to internal development or from R&D to manufacturing plant till product launch.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Pharmacy or relevant scientific field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in research and development, preferably in OTC environment of pharmaceutical companies
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge and experience of product development , tech transfer , understanding on consumer insights, claims, demonstrations , scientific illustrations. 
• Proficiency in fundamental laboratory techniques, GDP, GLP.
• Understanding on analytical technics
• Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams

• Proven ability to conceptualize and implement original research strategies addressing complex scientific challenges
• Exceptional proficiency in leveraging cutting-edge laboratory techniques and advanced analytical tools
• Demonstrated experience fostering innovation through diverse interdisciplinary collaboration
• Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of emerging scientific trends
• Experience in dynamic R&D environments requiring creative problem-solving
• Experience in data analysis , stability studies,
• Awareness of regulatory guidelines in APAC markets.
