The Opportunity

We are hiring a strategic, commercially focused Discounters Channel Sales Lead to lead and accelerate our growth in the discount retail segment (e.g. Biedronka, Lidl, Aldi) — one of the most dynamic and competitive channels in Polish FMCG.

You will have full P&L ownership and end-to-end responsibility for building the strategy, driving execution, and developing customer partnerships that deliver sustainable growth. This is a critical leadership role reporting directly to the Head of Mass Channel – Poland and part of the Commercial Leadership Team, giving you direct influence on national business decisions and strategic direction.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full channel strategy, commercial plans, and P&L for the discounter segment in Poland.

  • Lead negotiations, annual business planning, and long-term partnership development with key customers (e.g. Jeronimo Martins, Lidl, Aldi).

  • Represent Kenvue Poland in regional negotiations and commercial coordination with discounter accounts that operate across multiple markets.

  • Inspire, manage, and develop a team of experienced Key Account Managers.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure full commercial alignment and flawless execution.

  • Use shopper insights, customer data, and market trends to shape scalable, customer-centric growth strategies.

  • Identify strategic growth levers (e.g. NPD, promo mechanics, visibility) and translate them into actionable, measurable plans.

  • Contribute actively to the commercial leadership agenda in Poland and represent the discounter channel at regional forums.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6–8+ years of experience in commercial FMCG roles, including minimum 3 years managing key discounter accounts.

  • Proven success in leading customer negotiations, building JBP (joint business plan), and achieving market share and profitability growth.

  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and strategic thinking.

  • Strong people leadership, coaching capabilities and resilience skills.

  • Fluent in English (C1 Level) and Polish (written and spoken). German is plus.

  • Comfortable working in a matrix structure with local and regional stakeholders.

  • University degree in Business, Economics, or related field.
