The Asia Pacific SH&B Senior Marketing Manager for Global Brands is a pivotal role within the Skin Health & Beauty organization, responsible for driving the growth and relevance of key global brands—Aveeno, Clean & Clear, Johnson’s Adult, Regaine, and OGX—across the Asia Pacific region. This role acts as the critical link between global brand development teams and local market execution, ensuring that innovation, communication, and go-to-market strategies are tailored to meet the unique needs of Asian consumers. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence across global and local stakeholders to deliver winning brand strategies and business results.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Brand Leadership
- Partner with global brand teams to localize and implement brand strategies, innovation pipelines, and communication platforms for Asia Pacific.
- Translate global brand positioning into regionally relevant consumer propositions and marketing plans.
- Lead the development of regional go-to-market strategies, including media, digital, and in-store activation.
Innovation & Communication
- Shape and influence global innovation and communication plans by injecting Asia consumer insights and market dynamics.
- Ensure timely and successful regional rollout of innovation and communication toolkits.
- Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, supply chain, and packaging teams to ensure market readiness.
Market Collaboration & Execution
- Partner with local market teams to ensure flawless execution of brand plans and campaigns.
- Support markets in building business cases, launch plans, and post-launch reviews.
- Monitor brand performance and share best practices across the region.
Stakeholder Management
- Influence and align with global brand development teams to prioritize Asia needs.
- Build strong relationships with local marketing, commercial, and cross-functional teams.
- Represent Asia in global forums to advocate for regional priorities and opportunities.
Performance & Growth
- Drive brand growth through consumer-centric strategies, innovation, and marketing excellence.
- Track and analyze brand performance metrics (NTS, share, equity) and recommend course corrections.
- Champion digital acceleration and omnichannel strategies to drive engagement and conversion.
Business Delivery
- Be accountable for delivering the annual business plan for the global brands portfolio in Asia Pacific.
- Recommend strategic and tactical choices to meet or exceed business targets while building brand equity and market share.
- Contribute to the development of the 3-Year Operating Plan (3YOP), ensuring alignment with long-term brand and business objectives.
Leadership & Culture
- The Marketing Manager will operate with a strong working knowledge of local business dynamics and shared ownership of activities that drive monthly business performance. They will bring agility, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset to innovate, learn, and champion best practices across Skin Health. This person will be responsible for creating a high-performance environment and a culture of collaboration and innovation with cross-functional partners and marketing counterparts in the US, Asia Pacific region, and locally. In addition, this person will have responsibility for coaching and developing their team.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in FMCG or beauty/personal care.
- Proven track record of working with global brands and influencing across matrix organizations.
- Strong understanding of Asia Pacific consumer and retail landscape.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Passion for beauty and skin health, with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
