Production & Warehouse Lead

Locatie:

Asia Pacific, Malaysia, Selangor, Petaling Jaya

Wat je gaat doen

This position reports to Production & Warehouse Lead and is based in Selangor, Malaysia

This role is responsible for leading a production shift to ensure delivery of output targets while maintaining strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Corporate Quality Systems, and local regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do 

1. Team Leadership & Operations

• Lead, coach, and manage shift employees to deliver daily production targets

• Assign work, monitor performance, and address issues proactively

• Plan manpower and resources to ensure smooth production flow

2. Production & Performance

• Monitor Filling and Mixing line performance and resolving issues

• Coordinate production plans, priorities, and shift handovers

• Drive productivity improvements (downtime, changeovers, efficiency)

• Ensure accurate and timely production and batch reporting

3. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to GMP, documentation, and quality standards

• Support investigations and identify potential quality risks

• Promote a strong culture of compliance and accountability

4. Safety & Continuous Improvement

• Enforce EHS standards, PPE use, and 5S practices

• Drive waste reduction, cost awareness, and rework control

• Promote continuous improvement (Kaizen, OPL, shopfloor initiatives)

5. Development & Collaboration

• Coach and mentor team members

• Stay updated on processes, products, and technologies

• Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing or production operations

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Knowledge of GMP, quality, and safety standards

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• FMCG or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience

• Familiarity with OEE, SPC, or continuous improvement tools

• Experience in shift-based operations
