What you will do

The Building construction project manager is responsible for providing complex technical support in project planning, development, and implementation. You will apply advanced engineering techniques to develop standards, conduct research on new technologies, and independently manage multifaceted assignments with significant technical challenges:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage building construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to technical standards, project specifications, risk management and commissioning and seamless delivery.

• Project Management of Facility and Building construction CAPEX projects including cost, schedule, performance, communication, resources and risks. Use FPX as a base for all projects and use PDP where applicable.

• Project leader, Core team member or Extended team member for assigned projects. Develop project plans, execute plans and deliver FPOs in full.

• Support the creation of the project pipeline and develop solid business cases for assigned projects.

• Own the admin processes around projects including building charters, managing cash flow, organizing teams, securing funding, managing POs and invoicing, and closing and capitalizing projects at completion

• Work with internal experts and SMEs as well as external partners to find, develop, and prioritize capex and opex projects which strengthen Facility and site capabilities, reduce costs, improve reliability, and strengthen our position as the Kenvue leader in sustainability and energy efficiency

• Report data regarding energy to the Swedish Tax Agency, the Swedish Energy Agency and Statistics Sweden (SCB)

• Responsible for building, utilities and media in manufacturing projects.

• Responsible to make sure C&Q process is documented and followed in the project.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent qualification.

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in building construction project management or related engineering roles.

• Strong communication skills to effectively lead multidisciplinary teams and foster collaborative partnerships.

• Effective communication and coordination skills to work collaboratively with diverse project stakeholders.

• Proven ability to apply advanced engineering principles and techniques to complex construction projects.

• Proficiency in leveraging modern project management software and emerging construction technologies to streamline workflows.

• Exceptional ability to think critically and adaptively in fast-paced environments, balancing technical precision with creative solutions.

• Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate new technologies and materials for project application.

• Demonstrated capability to exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions on engineering alternatives.

• Experience in preparing detailed technical documentation and reports.

• A passion for sustainable building practices and a commitment to integrating green technologies within construction projects.
