What You Will Do      

Responsible for procuring supplies and services within the scope of business policies and procedures at the best negotiated terms for price, quality and delivery to support the business' manufacturing operations. Ensures that local purchasing needs are met by providing leadership and oversight to less experienced staff. 

Key Responsibilities: 

We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Lead Buyer with 5 – 8 years of sourcing experience to support our Construction, CAPEX, MRO, and Facility Management categories across our APAC manufacturing network. 

 This role is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional eager to build category expertise, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives in a dynamic FMCG/OTC manufacturing environment. 

• Act as the first point of contact for plants and local stakeholders across APAC for assigned categories 

• Support and execute RFx processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations in line with company policy 

• Onboard and implement category strategies developed with the Category Manager 

• Use e-sourcing tools (such as Keelvar), knowledge of SAP Ariba, and Contract Lifecycle Management platforms.  

• Leverage SAP for PR/PO follow-up, data management, and supplier performance tracking 

• Ensure procurement processes and compliance standards are followed across regions 

• Analyze large sets of procurement and spend data to support decision-making and savings tracking 

• Create and deliver clear, visual presentations (PowerPoint) for stakeholders and senior leadership 

• Monitor supplier performance and risks, support escalation and mitigation efforts 

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, plant ops, maintenance, finance) to understand and align sourcing with operational needs
