Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local Administrator to lead the deployment, management, and optimization of our hybrid cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in Azure Stack HCI, Hyper-V, and Windows Server technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in enterprise storage, networking, and hybrid cloud strategies, with the ability to drive adoption and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deploy, and manage Azure Stack HCI and Azure Arc-enabled infrastructure.
• Ensure seamless integration of Azure Stack HCI with on-premises and Azure cloud services.
• Manage Hyper-V clusters, virtual machines, and storage spaces direct (S2D) environments.
• Monitor performance, conduct regular health checks, and maintain high availability of HCI infrastructure.
• Automate deployment and management tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Windows Admin Center extensions.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with security teams to apply hardening, patching, and compliance controls.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators and IT support staff.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, SOPs, and runbooks for HCI and hybrid cloud operations.
• Liaise with Microsoft and vendor support for escalation and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in Hyper-V and Windows Server administration.
• 2+ years of experience specifically with Azure Stack HCI or similar hybrid infrastructure platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, and Failover Clustering.
• Hands-on experience with Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), SMB Direct (RDMA), and ReFS.
• Proficiency with Windows Admin Center and PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with Azure Arc, Azure Monitor, and Defender for Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-800, AZ-801, AZ-700, AZ-104).
• Experience with enterprise SAN/NAS solutions and integration with Azure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration on Azure Stack HCI.
• Understanding of Zero Trust security architecture in hybrid environments.

• Effective communicator across technical and non-technical teams.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and handle complex problems.
• Leadership qualities and willingness to mentor junior team members.
